Former Gator Every Gets First PGA Win, More In Sports Update

A big day for a former Gator golfer, March Madness, and more in our Monday Sports Update…

** Former Gator golfer Matt Every gets his first PGA Tour victory by winning the Bay Hill Classic in Orlando on Sunday.   Adam Scott loses a big lead down the stretch and Every capitalized and got the win.

** The Major League Baseball season is officially underway after the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks twice in Australia over the weekend.

** The Sweet 16 is set in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and there’s a lot of teams home that were not supposed to be like Wichita State, Syracuse and Duke.   Meanwhile the SEC has three teams in the Sweet 16.

** Kyle Busch beats Kyle Larson and Kurt Busch to win the NASCAR race in California on Sunday.

** The Gator men’s tennis team downs Alabama 4-0 but Alabama gets revenge on the women’s side and beats Florida 4-3.

** The Gator gymnastics team finishes second to Alabama in the SEC Championships over the weekend; UF now gets ready for more postseason action.
