Spring Practice, March Madness In Tuesday Sports Update

Spring football, March Madness, NBA and more in our Tuesday Sports Update…

** The Gator football team continued spring practice Monday and today we should hear from Gator coach Will Muschamp.    The next open practice is Wednesday.

** While the NCAA men’s basketball tournament takes a break, the women are playing.   In the SEC, Kentucky advances to the Sweet 16 as does Tennessee.   South Carolina, Texas A&M, and LSU can join them with wins tonight.

** NFL owners are meeting in Florida and will discuss a myriad of proposed rule changes for the game and possible expansion of the playoffs.

** In the NBA, Miami nips Portland 93-91 and the San Antonio Spurs win their 14th straight game, 113-91 over Philadelphia; the Sixers have now lost 25 straight games.

** The Masters is drawing closer but it still could be without Tiger Woods; the bad back that has bothered him recently could keep him out of Augusta.   Woods has not said if he will play or not in the event.
