UF Roundup: Tennis Hosts NCAA’s; Softball Out At SEC Tournament, Lacrosse In Action Too

There is lots of activity in Gator sports this weekend.

Both Florida tennis teams are hosting NCAA First and Second round action starting Friday.   The Gator women (19-5) play South Carolina State (13-5) a very familiar opponent today at 3pm after Oklahoma State (15-8) plays South Florida (18-3) in a match at noon.  The winners play Saturday afternoon.

The Gator men play Saturday at noon against St.John’s after Florida State faces South Florida at 9am.   The winners will play Sunday.

The Gator softball team now awaits its NCAA Tournament fate after losing 2-0 to Georgia in the SEC Tournament yesterday in South Carolina.   Florida is 45-11 on the season.

And the Gator lacrosse team is in NCAA action Sunday as it plays the winner of a game between Denver and Jacksonville being played today.
