Florida Softball One Win Away From College World Series

The Florida softball team is one win away from the College World Series after beating Washington in run rule fashion 9-0 Saturday in a Super Regional match up.   Florida has to win one of two games today to advance to the CWS.

Florida got an excellent start in the circle from Hannah Rogers and the Gator offense helped her fine pitching with timely hits and advantageous at bats.  The Gators took advantage of wildness from Washington’s pitchers and got some timely hits on their way to the win.

Action gets underway Sunday at noon; if a third game is needed it will start at 3pm.
