Gator Softball Run Rules Baylor In College World Series

The Florida Gator softball team played the first game in this year’s women’s College World Series and it was a great one for Florida as it run rules Baylor 11-0 in Oklahoma City.

Senior Hannah Rogers throws the shutout in the circle for Florida to get the win.   She allowed just three hits in the game.  Florida had nine hits in the game against two Baylor pitchers with one of the biggest being a walk off grand slam homer by freshman Chelsea Herndon.

The Gators will now face either Oregon or Florida State in a winner’s bracket game on Friday night.
