** The San Francisco Giants are one win away from a World Series championship after beating the Kansas City Royals 5-0 Sunday night behind the complete game shutout pitching of Madison Bumgarner. Game 6 in KC Tuesday.
** Sad news in baseball too as St.Louis outfielder Oscar Taveras, an up and coming star, dies in a car crash at the age of 22.
** The new college football polls are out and there are still five SEC teams ranked in the top ten in both polls.
** Sad news to report today in football as well as former Gator offensive lineman and NFL offensive lineman Mo Collins has passed away at the age of 38.
** In the NFL, Miami beats Jacksonville 27-13 and Minnesota tops Tampa Bay 19-13. On Monday Night Football tonight it’s Washington at Dallas.
** Both the Gator volleyball and soccer teams get wins on Sunday. Gator volleyball remains unbeaten in the SEC with a sweep of Mississippi State and soccer beats LSU 3-0.
** Dale Earnhardt Jr. wins the NASCAR race in Martinsville, Virginia, his fourth win of the year. Jeff Gordon finishes second. Earnhardt however has been eliminated from the Chase For The Cup.
