The Florida Gator football team got two rushing touchdowns from quarterback Treon Harris to lead the Gators to a 34-10 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville on Saturday night.
Florida improves to 5-3 overall and to 4-3 in the SEC. The win keeps the Gators alive to possibly win the SEC East but it will need help to do so.
The night did not start out well for Florida when senior defensive tackle Leon Orr was sent home by coach Will Muschamp. Orr did not like the fact he was not starting the game and expressed his displeasure and Muschamp sent him back home on a bus.
After the game, Muschamp said Orr was now off the team.
The Commodores took a 7-0 lead early but Florida tied it on a Kelvin Taylor TD run and took the lead for good when quarterback Jeff Driskel entered the game and scored on a one yard plunge.
Florida starting quarterback Treon Harris was solid, running for two touchdowns and also throwing for over 200 yards in the game.
Florida will host South Carolina next Saturday.
