Florida softball adds two more wins to their season start

At the USF Softball Classic, the Gators ended the day with two more wins under their belt to bring them to a 3-0 record to the start of their season after Saturday’s play.

The first game was a close one as Florida edged eighth ranked Michigan 2-1. Aleshia Ocasio was in the circle for the Gators and got the complete game win giving up just two hits and one run.  The Gators scored a run in the fourth and in the seventh to pull out the win.

The second game saw Florida beat Illinois State 6 to 0.

Today Florida will play Jacksonville and South Florida.
