** The Florida men’s basketball team breaks a four game losing streak by beating Vanderbilt at home 50-47. Florida played without starters Michael Frazier II (injury) and Dorian Finney-Smith (suspension).
** The Florida women’s basketball team hosts Vanderbilt tonight; UF beat the Commodores earlier this year.
** The Gator baseball team is 4-0 after ripping USF 13-3 last night. Next, a home series with Miami starting Friday.
** The Gator swim teams are competing at the SEC Championships through Saturday.
** In SEC men’s hoops last night, Arkansas drubs Missouri 84-69; tonight, Ole Miss and Mississippi State tangle.
** The NBA trading deadline is at 3 pm today; so far, no big deals announced.
** Qualifying continues today for the Daytona 500 this weekend. Two races today.
** Florida gets two Miami area football verbal commitments for the 2016 class in defensive end Eric Mitchell and linebacker Vosean Joseph.
