** The Gator baseball team hosts Bethune Cookman tonight. UF is 31-10 on the year and comes off a weekend sweep of Mississippi State. Bethune is 15-29 on the year.
** Yes, Tim Tebow signs that one year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles; he’s back in the NFL, at least for now.
** Former Gator pitcher Anthony DeSclafani is now 2-0 on the year after his Cincinnati Reds down Milwaukee 6-1. He threw eight shutout innings, allowing only two hits.
** Tonight, Tampa Bay starts a series with Boston; Miami plays Philadelphia and Atlanta is at the New York Mets.
** In the NBA playoffs, Chicago beats Milwaukee 91-82 to go up 2-0 in the series. Golden State downs New Orleans 97-87 to go up 2-0 in that series. More games tonight.
** In the NHL playoffs, the NY Rangers beat Pittsburgh 2-1 to go up 2-1 in the series; Minnesota downs St. Louis 3-0 to go up 2-1 and Anaheim downs Winnipeg 5-4 to go up 3-0 in the series.
** Pro Football Hall of Fame member Bob St. Clair is dead today at 84. The offensive lineman played for the San Francisco 49ers.
