The Gator football team have reportedly found their walk-on kicker. According to multiples reports, former Gainesville High School kicker Dallas Stubbs will be on the sidelines with the Gators when they face the Georgia Bulldogs on Halloween in Jacksonville.
Former GHS kicker Dallas Stubbs will be on the sideline for UF against UGA next Saturday. Dallas earned a position as a back-up kicker.

The Gator football team sent out a call for kickers on social media Monday after Jorge Powell suffered an injury against LSU last week when he was run over during a kickoff.

The good news is that the Gators have a week off as they prepare for the Florida-Georgia rivalry game in Jacksonville on Halloween. This gives coach Jim McElwain and his staff plenty of time to decided if any of the 77 students that tried out have what it takes to walk-on to the team.

Austin Hardin who was the kicker who started the season for the Gators will get the chance to kick against Georgia next week, but Coach McElwain wants options. Hardin, who has dealt with his own injuries this season would be the only available kicker on the roster for the Georgia game so the coaching staff would want to have a second kicker on the roster in case of emergency.
