The Florida Gator football team sits alone in first place in the SEC East and should they take down rival Georgia Bulldogs, the Gators could find themselves cruising into Atlanta for the SEC Championship game.
This game holds a lot of weight for the Gators not only because of the chance to win the SEC East, but its also one of the biggest rivalry games all season for both programs.
“Madness,” said wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood when asked about what Florida coach Jim McElwain can expect out of a Florida-Georgia game. “Just complete havoc. Craziest. It’s probably going to be one of the craziest things he’s ever seen.”
In last year’s match up, Florida stomped the ninth ranked Bulldogs 38-20, and ran all over them…literally. The Gators rushing game piled up 418 yards, and running back Kelvin Taylor led all rushers with 197 yards and also scored twice. Taylor is looking for another great game this year.
“I’m really excited and I’ve been practicing hard so I’m ready to get back up there and I can’t wait to have a great game this weekend,” Taylor added.
The running back will try to play with some vengeance after last week’s loss to LSU, rushing for only 25 yards… his lowest performance all season long.
“I just can’t wait for Saturday, man,” said Taylor. “LSU game, I really didn’t have a good game like I wanted to so I got to redeem myself this week so I can’t wait.”
Fulwood says McElwain should expect craziness on Saturday
