Florida Volleyball Sweeps Tennessee

The Gators have now tallied in their 15th sweep of the season with their defeat over Tennessee on Sunday. Florida went 25-21 in the first set, 25-23 in the second, and 25-19 for the third set.

Florida now holds a record of 20-5 overall and 12-4 in SEC play. The Gators also swept the Vols when they faced each other earlier this season.

Some key performers for the Gators were outside hitter Carli Snyder, right side Alex Holston, and middle Rhamat Alhassan.

Snyder tallied in 14 kills and 11 digs while Holston made this her fourth consecutive double digit game with 14 kills as well. Alhassan led the team with a .562 hitting percentage.

Coming up next for Florida, they are on the road to take on LSU this Friday. This will be their final roadtrip of the regular season. First serve for that matchup is set for 6:00 PM.
