Volleyball Preview: Gators Advance To Elite 8

The Florida volleyball team takes on three seed Texas Saturday night for in an Elite 8 match up in NCAA Tournament play. The Gators are coming off a thrilling win which went to a full five sets to upset sixth seeded Wisconsin on Friday.

Texas defeated UCLA three sets to one in order to advance.

Florida and Texas faced each other one time this season; on September 5th the Gators defeated the Longhorns three sets to one.

First serve against Texas is set for 9:00 PM and you can hear the match live on ESPN Gainesville/95.3 FM.  The winner of Saturday’s match up will move on to the Final Four in Omaha; the Gators are looking to make the Final Four for the first time in 12 years.
