The NFL combine officially begins today in Indianapolis, Indiana as the first group of NFL prospects stream into town to prepare for the most important week of their professional careers up to this point.
The players expected to report today include place kickers, running backs, offensive linemen, and special team contributors. On the first day, those that arrive will participate in orientation, hospital pre-exams and x-rays, as well as interviews.
On-field workouts will begin on Friday and they will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is the home of the Indianapolis Colts.
The Gators have eight former players participating in this week’s combine. Defensive end Jonathan Bullard, defensive back Vernon Hargreaves, defensive end Alex McCalister, tight end Jake McGhee, linebacker Antonio Morrison, strong safety Keanu Neal, running back Kelvin Taylor, and receiver Demarcus Robinson will all be looking to show NFL scouts why they are ready to play in the NFL.
The last day of the combine will be Monday.
