NBA Preview: Magic vs. Warriors

The Orlando Magic (27-34) will travel Oracle Arena to face off against the league best Golden State Warriors (55-6). The Warriors are undefeated at home this year going 26-0 and will look to bounce back after stunning loss last night to the Los Angles Lakers  112-95. The Warriors have not lost back-to-back games this season and will look to break the NBA home game winning streak. The Dubs will attempt to break the  1995-96 Chicago Bulls record with a 45th straight home victory against the Magic.

The Magic are 10-18 away from home, and lost their previous game against the Phoenix Suns 102-84. That win supplied the Suns their first road win in almost three months. The Magic back court of Elfrid Payton and Victor Oladipo will  look to slow down the All-Star duo of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Curry and Thompson went a combined 1-18 from 3 last night. The Warriors did not have a 20 point scorer for the first time since November 26. Curry completed the game with 18 points on 6-of-20 shooting and missed nine of 10 3-pointers.

In the only previous match up of the year, Curry dropped 51 points against Orlando. The Magic are currently in 11th place in the Eastern Conference and are 4-6 in the last 10games. Magic center Nikola Vucevic believes the team feels good about the way the Magic have played in its last extended western road trip.

The Magic are only four games back of the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference and the Warriors are first in the Western Conference.

Game time is 10:30 p.m. and will air on Fox Sports Florida.
