The No.3 Florida Gator Lacrosse team will host the Villanova Wildcats on Wednesday afternoon.
This is the fourth meeting between these two teams in the past two seasons, with the Gators having a 3-0 lead in the series.

Florida
The Gators are dominating in the Big East play.
Gator attackers Lindsey Ronbeck and Mollie Stevens have compiled 24 points, while Carolina Fitzgerald has had eight caused turnovers and nine ground balls. Goalkeeper Haley Hicklen has 38 saves and a .608 save percentage in conference games. Florida has almost tripled opposing scoring in their first 13 games of the season, outscoring them in the first half 124-44.
Villanova
The Wildcats have lost two Big East games to Georgetown and Temple by a margin of three goals. Sam Scarfogliero has anchored the defense the entire season and is currently ranked 10th nationally in ground balls per game (3.50) and 14th in caused turnovers per game (2.25). She leads the Big East in these categories.
Meanwhile, Katie Comerford continues to produce for Villanova’s offense this season and is leading with 39 points, 27 goals and 12 assists.
