Fall-Like Weekend in Knoxville for Gator Fans

For Tennessee fans, another cold front is no big deal.  They’ve already seen several move through this month, knocking the scorching summer temps down to more typical values for  this time of year.  However, Gator fans have only recently experienced some relief from the oppressive summertime heat, with their first front arriving last Monday.  Another front is on the way to Eastern Tennessee late in the coming weekend, but likely holding off until fans are on their way back home to the Sunshine State before delivering a chance for showers.  The weekend forecast in Knoxville is a nice one, with warm, sunny days and cool, crisp nights.  Gator fans should be aware, however, of some possible strong thunderstorms arriving late in the day Sunday, should they decide to extend their visit through Monday.

Tailgating (afternoon):  Partly sunny and breezy.  Temperatures near 80.

Kickoff (early evening):  Partly cloudy and pleasant.  Temperatures cooling to near 70.

Post-Game (late evening):  Mostly clear and cool.  Temperatures cooling through the 60s.
