Gator fans, perfection is what can be described as this weekend’s forecast. Despite the recent spell of cold nights, an early kickoff this week (at noon) won’t be a problem. Temperatures will be moderating and skies are expected to stay clear for the Missouri Tigers first-ever visit to The Swamp. What a beautiful Florida welcome!
High pressure overhead is likely ensure our skies will stay mostly sunny. We’ll have a seasonably cool morning with lows mostly in the 50s, but by kickoff the mercury will be climbing well into the 70s. A mid-afternoon high near 81 is possible (likely occurring in the second half). Winds won’t be as strong as in recent days, but there will still be a breeze generally out of the north at around 5 to 10 mph. This will ensure those near-80 degree temperatures still feel rather comfortable in the sun. Fans are reminded that pro-longed exposure to the sun this time of year can still result in a moderate sunburn, so sunblock will be a good idea with your orange and blue.
