You may have felt the cool breeze today in North-Central Florida. A reinforcing cold front has kept the north wind in place and the cooler air will continue to drain into the peninsula for the next 36 hours. Those same winds will likely prevent most areas from experiencing frost tonight, but wind chills will make up the difference and make it feel every bit of freezing early Thursday morning.
Frost is more likely to be widespread Thursday Night as the winds calm down and high pressure moves directly overhead. Light or calm winds are necessary for the condensation to occur on exposed surfaces and for the frost to accumulate.
