Storm Mode: Using Twitter for Notifications from WRUF Weather

During times of active weather, you may want to use Twitter to receive notifications from WRUF Weather on potential hazards or damage.  While “storm mode” is on, we will ONLY tweet when there is an important update to our forecast or a severe weather advisory, watch, or warning has been issued by the National Weather Service.  We will also notify you when the hazardous weather threat has passed and you can safely turn our notifications off.

To set up push or SMS notifications from just WRUF Weather on Twitter, follow these instructions.
