Gator Men's Hoops Hosts LSU Saturday

The Florida men’s basketball team gets back in action after a week off when it hosts LSU Saturday. WRUF Sports Radio 850 has live coverage starting with our own pregame show starting at 4:30pm.

Florida hasn’t played since beating South Carolina on the road last weekend while LSU won a midweek game in overtime against Auburn.

Coach Trent Johnson’s team does have trouble scoring but it does play very solid defensively. A concern inside for Florida will be 6’11” Justin Hamilton who is a rangy player with excellent scoring ability.

The Gators may not have the services of their starting post player Patric Young as he continues to be bothered by an ankle injury. Gator coach Billy Donovan says Young will play but he might not start and his minutes might be limited as well.
