August 13, 2012

Rory McElroy blows away the field in the PGA Championship and wins his second major championship by a record eight strokes on the Kiawah Island, South Carolina course.

He finished 12 under par as he becomes the youngest player since Seve Ballesteros to win two major championships.

Tiger Woods faltered badly again on the weekend and he finished the year not shooting under par on the weekends in any of the major championships.   David Lynn finished second at five under par after shooting a final round 68.
