The Miami Dolphins now find themselves squarely in the AFC playoff picture after beating the New England Patriots 24-20 Sunday in Miami.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw for over 300 yards and three scores for the Dolphins, who move to 8-6 with the win. They can claim the final AFC playoff spot if Baltimore loses to Detroit on Monday Night Football with two games to go in the regular season.
Meanwhile the Tampa Bay Bucs were competitive early but in the end they lose at home to San Francisco 33-14. The 49ers improve to 10-4 while the Bucs fall to 4-10.
In other NFL games, Kansas City clinches an AFC playoff spot by blasting Oakland 56-31 while also tying Denver atop the AFC West.
Dallas blows a 26-3 halftime lead at home and loses to Green Bay 37-36 as the Packers keep their playoff hopes alive at 7-6-1 while Dallas falls to 7-7, a game behind Philadelphia in the NFC East; the Eagles lost at Minnesota 48-30.
The other NFL winners are Atlanta, Seattle, Carolina, Chicago, Arizona, St.Louis, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh.
