Gator Baseball At UCF Tonight To Start Home And Home Series

The 10-1 Gator baseball team will begin a home and home series tonight on the road against the UCF Golden Knights.   You can hear live coverage of the game on ESPN 850 WRUF starting at 6:25 pm.

UCF is also 10-1 on the season and it already has four wins against ranked teams this season.   Both teams are ranked in every major poll as well.

On the mound Florida senior lefty Bobby Poyner will make his first start of the season after performing well out of the bullpen; he’ll be opposed by freshman righty Kyle Marsh.

In their only meeting last year, Florida downed UCF 5-1 and the Gators have won 9 of the last 13 meetings with the Knights.
