Tuesday Sports Update (3/17)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! We’ll talk Gator sports, NCAA women’s hoops, Tim Tebow and more today!

** The Gator baseball team hosts FSU tonight for the first of three games between the teams. UF is 18-3; FSU 17-4.

** Gator lacrosse hosts Stony Brook tonight as well; UF is coming off a loss at top ranked Maryland.

** Gator football spring practice continues this week after the first day of practice takes place yesterday. No major surprises.

** Former Gator quarterback Tim Tebow works out for the Philadelphia Eagles but there are no plans to sign him right away.

** Connecticut, Notre Dame, South Carolina and Maryland are number one seeds for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.

** Miami downs Cleveland 106-92 in NBA action as Dwyane Wade scores 32 points.
