Gator Football Holds On To Beat Kentucky

September 19, 2015

The University of Florida football team ran its record to 3-0 on the season after a hard fought 14-9 victory at Kentucky on Saturday night.

UF is now 1-0 in SEC play while the Wildcats fall to 1-1 in the league and lose to the Gators for the 29th straight year.

Both offenses struggled most of the night but the Gators got enough to get the win.   But it was the Gator defense that held the Wildcats to three field goals while making it very difficult for Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles who was harassed and hurried in the pocket almost all night long.

The Gators will now face Tennessee at home next week.
