Volleyball Preview: Gators Back at Home Facing Texas A&M

The Florida volleyball team looks to bounce back against Texas A&M this Friday after losing their last three matches, all to SEC teams. The Gators now hold an overall record of 9-4 and are 1-3 in conference play. Florida head coach Mary Wise says the SEC has gotten a lot better. “The schedule wasn’t going to be easy to play and no team should have to play two opponents on the road who only had one match to prepare for.” Texas A&M is currently

9-5 and 2-1 in the SEC. Wise says their offense is the fastest in the league. “They are so quick from setter to hitter, a very offensive oriented setter with an elite level middle, so it’s going to be a huge challenge.” The Florida Gators will be at home in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center to face the Texas A&M Aggies on Friday; live coverage of the game can he heard on ESPN Gainesville 95.3 FM

starting at 6:50 PM. To hear audio from the story, listen here: Wise talks about hard matchups Wise comments on Texas A&M
