
Gators Look Forward to Senior Day Against UConn
The Florida Gators are now 15-1 and undefeated in Big East play after defeating Cincinnati 17-5 Wednesday. The Gators will now look forward to taking on UConn in the regular-season finale on Sunday at noon for senior day.
In the win against Cincinnati, rookie of the week Lindsey Ronbeck put up a team high six points. Five players had numerous goal outings as the Gators put forth its second best offensive output of the season with seventeen goals in total. The UConn Huskies also won Wednesday beating Georgetown. Both wins now set up a matchup on Sunday that is highly competitive as the winner will be the Big East regular season champion.

Game time is set for noon on Sunday, however senior day celebrations will take place starting at 11:40 a.m. Senior attacker Carly Ross says she cannot believe how time has flied at the University of Florida. After the game against UConn on Sunday the Gators will get to enjoy a week long break before heading to Washington D.C. for the 2016 Big East championship May 5-7 at Georgetown’s Cooper Field.
