Kentucky And LSU Get SEC Hoop Wins

Second ranked Kentucky beat Arkansas and Florida’s next opponent, LSU, beat Auburn in SEC men’s basketball action on Tuesday.

The Wildcats tame Arkansas 86-63 at home as freshman Anthony Davis scores a career high 27 points and also sets a new school record for blocked shots in a season as he swats away seven shots in the game. The Wildcats have now won 46 straight at home, the longest such streak in the country as they improve to 18-1 overall and to 4-0 in SEC play. Arkansas is now 13-5 and 2-2 in the SEC.

Meanwhile LSU stops Auburn 65-58 in overtime in Baton Rouge as Anthony Hickey scores 18 for the Tigers. LSU improves to 12-6 and 2-2 in the SEC while Auburn falls to 11-7 and 1-3 in the SEC.

Tonight, Tennessee is at Georgia in a game you can see on WRUF TV starting at 8pm and Ole Miss will host Mississippi State.
