Jaga Take on Broncos in London

The Jacksonville Jaguars face off against Denver Broncos in London. Both teams enter the game with a 2-5 record. The game is set to kickoff on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at Wembley Stadium.

A look at the Jags

After a solid start to the season, Jacksonville has lost four straight games. Last week, the team suffered a tough loss to the New York Giants 23-17. The Jags were stopped on the goal line as time expired, suffering their fifth loss of the season. On the offensive side, they average 22.1 points per game compared to their first three games of the season where they averaged 28.0 points per game.

The Jags are currently ranked seventh in overall offense with 371.3 yards per game. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence will need to bounce back from week seven as he threw for 310 passing yards with no touchdown passes.

In overall defense, Jacksonville ranks at No. 17 in the league. Linebacker Foyesade Oluokun leads the defense with 70 tackles and one sack.

Broncos Trying to Back

Denver is in a similar situation as the Jags. The Broncos have also lost four games in a row and are coming off a loss to the New York Jets in week seven. They currently have the league’s lowest scoring offense, averaging 14.3 points per game.

Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson suffered an injury in their 19-16 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers in week six. However, Wilson is expected to start in London on Sunday.

Although the Denver offense hasn’t performed to expectations, the team is ranked second in the league in overall defense. Linebacker Alex Singleton leads the team with 58 tackles and linebacker Bradley Chubb leads the team in sacks with 5.5.

This is the third and final game that will be played in London this season. Earlier this season, the Vikings defeated the Saints and the Giants outlasted the Packers.

Kickoff is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
