Rangers Try To Close Out Cardinals In World Series Tonight
The Texas Rangers try to win their first World Series title in franchise history tonight when they face the St.Louis Cardinals in Game 6 of the Fall Classic in St.Louis.
Colby Lewis takes the mound for Texas and he’ll face lefty Jaime Garcia of the Cardinals. Texas leads 3-2 in the Series.
The buzz Tuesday was still about the bullpen phone/communication issues the Cardinals had in Game 5 that caused a lefty to face righty Mike Napoli when apparently there was a miscommunication about who to bring in the game to face him from the St.Louis standpoint. Napoli hit a two run double off a lefty and Texas won the game 4-2.
There were also baserunning mistakes and/or bad decisions made in the game by the Cardinals as well when slugger Albert Pujols apparently put a hit and run on himself and a base runner was thrown out trying to steal.
