The “Sports Lab with Kevin Winter” is a unique show that is designed to serve all of “Gator Nation” while also providing a teaching laboratory for students pursuing their dreams of having a career in sports radio. The show focuses on all Gator sports and reaches into the pockets of diehard college sports fans while also touching on the top stories in the NFL as well. The uniqueness comes with Kevin incorporating his “Gen X” roots with today’s young adults. Listen to the “Sports Lab with Kevin Winter” weekdays from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Kevin Winter
Kevin is the Brand Manager of WRUF-AM, arriving in Gainesville in July 2025 after a more than 20-year on-air career at ESPN Radio. Kevin has broadcast nine NBA Finals series, nine NBA All-Star games, 10 World Series, two College Football National Championship games and two World Cups.
Along with his duties as Brand Manager at WRUF, Kevin has also joined the Gator Radio Network from Learfield as a studio host for all football and basketball games.
Kevin graduated from Hofstra University in 2000 with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Speech Communications.
