Florida Women’s Golf Prepares For 54th Gator Invitational

The Gators women’s golf team heads back home this weekend to Mark Bostick Golf Course as regular season play rapidly closes. 

No. 7 Florida will host the 54th annual Gators Invitational this weekend, looking for its 28th win in the event in program history. The team has won the invitational in nine of the last ten outings. 

The field for this year’s tournament includes Campbell, Clemson, Georgia Southern, FAU, FIU, FGCU, Miami, No. 49 Michigan, No. 14 North Carolina, No. 27 Oklahoma, South Alabama, USF and No. 40 Virginia. 

The teams will play 18 holes each day for the weekend, with course par set at 70.

Florida’s team lineup consists of Megan Propeck, Paula Francisco, Siuue Wu, Katelyn Huber, and Addison Klonowski. Inès Archer, Elaine Widjaja, and Sophie Stevens will all compete as individuals. The Gators enter the tournament with the most participants of all 14 teams. 

Last year, Florida swept both the team and individual titles for the first time since 2021. 

The Gators are coming off of play at the Moon Golf Invitational at Suntree Country Club on February 17th. Florida finished 6th in the tournament for  its first finish outside of the top-5 in the regular season since 2024. Both Megan Propeck and Paula Francisco finished tied for 20th at +3. This was the sixth top-25 finish for both players this season. 

Admission to the Gators Invitational is free all weekend. Florida tees off at the Mark Bostick Golf Course at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. on Sunday.
