Gator Gymnastics Set For SEC Championship Meet

March 21, 2026

No. 3 Florida Gymnastics enters the SEC Championship meet following two record-breaking performances, posting the nation’s highest team totals in consecutive weeks.

After struggling with inconsistency across all four events earlier this season, the Gators appear to have found their groove at the perfect time.

The championship features the conference’s top nine teams at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla. Seeds 5-9 (Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Auburn and Kentucky) will compete in the first session at 3 p.m. ET today. Third-seeded Florida will face No.1 Oklahoma, No. 2 LSU and No. 4 Alabama in the evening session at 8 p.m. Both sessions will air on the SEC Network.

The highest score across both sessions will take the SEC trophy. All nine teams rank among the nation’s top 19.

For the first time since 2007, Oklahoma, LSU, Florida and Alabama are not only the top four seeds in the meet but also the top four teams in the country. With a pool this talented, the Gators will need a nearly flawless performance to win. Still, Florida remains confident in its mindset when it comes to competition.

“Let it come to us,” senior eMjae Frazier said. “If we do our normal, if we are ourselves, stay within our bubble and feed off of each other’s energy, it’s gonna be great.”

Florida will lean on Selena Harris-Miranda, who has posted back-to-back perfect scores on beam the last two weeks. The Gators will also rely on other leaders, like Frazier, Skye Blakely, Kayla DiCello and Riley McCusker, who have delivered consistently throughout the season.

Florida has won 12 SEC Championships, the most recent in 2023. The Gators finished third and fourth the past two seasons.

Florida has claimed three conference titles under coach Jenny Rowland. The team’s motto heading into the meet is HUGs: high standards, unbreakable belief and Gator toughness.

“That’s all we’ve got to do tomorrow is be us,” Rowland said Friday night. “Do what they did today and enjoy each and every moment.”
