Gators Women’s Golf Advances to SEC Semifinals

April 20, 2026

The Gators breezed past Vanderbilt in the SEC Championship Quarterfinals on Monday, winning 4-1 and setting up a 2022 rematch with No. 4-seed Auburn. Live coverage starts at 3 p.m. on SECN+.

Florida advanced to match play semifinals in consecutive seasons and just the third time overall in program history, tied for the third-most all-time in conference history.

Auburn made easy work of No. 5 seed Ole Miss Monday morning, defeating the Rebels 5-0. The Gators look to defeat Auburn in the semifinals just as they did in 2022, winning 3-2. Florida is 2-0 all-time in SEC semifinals play.

The winner will advance to the SEC Championship Finals on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with live coverage on SEC Network. If the Gators defeat the Tigers and go on to win the SEC Team Championship, UF would become the first school in conference history to complete the SEC Triple Crown: Individual Championship, Team Championship, and top team in stroke play.

Megan Propeck secured the opening point for the Gators as she dominated the back nine with two birdies and an eagle. Siuue Wu won Florida’s second point in her first-ever conference tournament outing. She won 13 of her 15 holes played.

Freshman and Gainesville native Katelyn Huber clinched the victory for Florida, as she went scorched earth after the first six holes, winning holes 7, 8 and 9 consecutively and leading as much as 4Up with five to play.

All three Gators that won points this morning were making their SEC Championship match play debuts.
