Florida Gymnastics Adds Fifth Commit to 2026 Class with Carsyn Coleman

May 6, 2026

Just days after Ella Fine flipped her commitment from Auburn to Florida, Gators gymnastics welcomed another new member to its 2026 recruiting class.

Carsyn Coleman, a three-star recruit per College Gym News, becomes the fifth Gator joining the program in the fall. She officially visited UCLA in November but stayed uncommitted until making her commitment announcement on Instagram.

“I cannot thank the incredible coaching staff, my future teammates and the entire Gator family enough for being so warm, welcoming and genuine,” Coleman said. “I’ll never forget this moment. Go Gators.”

Coleman continues to develop and build her skills, debuting a Yurchenko 1.5 at the state championship in California and recording personal-best 9.9 on vault at the Region 1 competition on April 10. Her 10.0-start-value vault could help Florida improve on this event, as it was the Gators’ Achilles heel in the 2026 season and potentially cost them a national championship.

Coleman, also recognized as a powerful tumbler on the floor, secures yet another win for the Gators’ coaching staff after a third-place finish at the NCAA Championship. Coleman joins four five-star commits, who will replace graduating seniors Selena Harris-Miranda, eMjae Frazier and Riley McCusker.

“Coach Jenny, Owen, Adrian and Jeremy, your care, energy and belief in me made this decision so special,” Coleman said. “You created a place that feels like family.”
