LSU Faces Mississippi State Tonight In College Football

A big SEC matchup takes place in college football tonight when third ranked LSU faces 25th ranked Mississippi State in Starkville.

The Tigers are 2-0 including a solid win over nationally ranked Oregon while Mississippi State is 1-1 after losing by seven points at the end of the game to SEC West rival Auburn.

This is a great chance for coach Dan Mullen and his Bulldogs to shoot themselves into the national spotlight if his team can get a win over a top five team and an SEC West rival on national television but it is also a chance for LSU to perhaps deliver an early season knockout blow to Mississippi State’s chances of winning the SEC West; a loss tonight would give them two league losses already.
