Florida Football Assistant Coach Salaries: What Jon Sumrall’s Staff Will Earn
While Florida coach Jon Sumrall’s contract terms have been known since late 2025, the salaries for his assistant coaches are now public.
With $16.3 million allotted in the official annual pool, Sumrall, offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner, defensive coordinator Brad White, offensive line coach Phil Trautwein and defensive line coach Gerald Chatman are listed as the highest earners.
Faulkner, the former Georgia Tech offensive coordinator, will make over $2 million in each of his next three years, while White will earn $1.85 million, with $100,000 increases in 2027 and 2028.
Chatman, who enters his third year at Florida, will earn $950,000 in 2026, with a $50,000 increase in 2027. Trautwein will begin making $750,000, followed by a $250,000 increase in 2027, bringing his total to $1.75 million over two years.
Coming off a two-year stint at Tulane, Sumrall led the Green Wave to a 2025 College Football Playoff appearance. At Florida, he will earn $7.45 million per year over the next six years.
