Jadan Baugh, Myles Graham Headline 14 Gators on Shrine Bowl 1000
The East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 List has been released, and of the 154 schools represented, the Florida Gators come in with 14 players selected.
Included in this group are the returning combo of running back Jadan Baugh and linebacker Myles Graham. During SEC Media Days, Baugh said Graham and edge rusher Jayden Woods were major factors in his return to Gainesville.
“Those two guys mean so much to me,” Baugh said. “And with them calling and us sitting there having that conversation, I just knew for a fact that’s what I wanted to do. I wanted to be in Gainesville.”
Baugh is coming off a 1,170-yard season with eight touchdowns, hauling in an extra 220 yards and two touchdowns in the passing game. Graham gave Baugh his fair share of compliments as well.
“Just going up against him every single day since freshman year, it’s definitely made me better,” Graham said. “But he’s definitely the best back, in my opinion, in the country.”
Graham had 76 total tackles and two sacks in his 2025 campaign and is ready to take on a deeper leadership role in his junior season.
“I just want to be the guy that guys can lean on and go out and attack, play fast, play physical,” Graham said. “If you do that, do your job, take care of everything, all those goals and everything that I have for myself will take care of itself.”
Joining them are DJ Coleman, Bryce Thornton, Jaden Robinson, Kamran James, Cormani McClain, Alec Clark, Evan Pryor, Emmanuel Oyebadejo, Knijeah Harris, Caden Jones and Eric Singleton Jr.
Tied with the Missouri Tigers for the ninth-largest group of players on the list, Florida’s 14 players are also good for fifth-most in the SEC, behind LSU (21), Ole Miss (20), Texas (20), Texas A&M (20), Georgia (18) and Oklahoma (18). Auburn, Tennessee and Vanderbilt follow the Gators with 13 players each.
In the 2026 Shrine Bowl, three Gators took part in the event, each now in the NFL. Kicker Trey Smack went 216th overall in the sixth round, punter Tommy Doman went 239th overall in the seventh round and receiver J. Michael Sturdivant signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent. George Gumbs Jr. had originally accepted his invitation to the event but pulled out before being drafted in the fifth round by the Indianapolis Colts.
The 2027 Shriners Children’s East-West Bowl will take place on February 4, 2027, in Arlington, Texas, at AT&T Stadium. Players will work with NFL coaches and showcase their talents to NFL scouts.
