Florida at Missouri Start Time Set for 3:30 p.m.

No. 21 Florida football will play at No. 19 Missouri at 3:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 3, the SEC announced Monday.

The game will stream on ESPN or ABC, with the network announcing which following Saturday’s games.

Both teams are 3-0, but Missouri has yet to compete in conference play. Florida beat Auburn on Saturday, 44-39 for a 1-0 conference record. 

Almost every die-hard Florida fan remembers the 33-31 loss at Missouri’s Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium, in 2023 during the Billy Napier Era. For those who don’t, unranked Florida scored a 35-yard field goal to take the lead on No. 9 Missouri (31-30) with 1:36 remaining in the game. 

Mizzou countered Florida’s field goal with one of its own from the 30-yard line with only five seconds left in the game to take the win. 

Florida is 6-7 overall against Missouri, which is 4-2 at home vs the Gators. The teams are 6-6 in conference play.

Offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner’s contributions at Florida have been undeniable. Quarterback Aaron Philo has a 0.7344 completion percentage and averages 240.3 yards per game. Faulkner’s offense is dependent on running back Jadan Baugh, who averages 152.7 yards per game. 

Florida is not alone in the reconstruction of its offense. Missouri is also working with a new coordinator. Chip Lindsey is coaching his first season as Mizzou’s offensive coordinator after being Michigan’s for one season. 

Under Lindsey, quarterback Austin Simmons holds a 0.697 completion percentage and averages 211.67 yards per game. Running back Jamal Roberts averages 100 yards per game.

Florida plays No. 4 Ole Miss (3-0, 1-0) Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in The Swamp. Coverage starts at 12:30 p.m. on WRUF 98.1-FM/850-AM/103.7 HD2 and at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.

Missouri opens its conference play at No. 24 Mississippi State (3-0, 1-0) at 7:45 p.m. ET Saturday on the SEC Network.
