Florida Soccer Trio Earns Postseason SEC Honors
Three Florida soccer players in their first year with the program earned postseason honors from the SEC, the conference announced Thursday.
Senior forward Zoe Main and sophomore midfielder Adia Symmonds were named to the All-SEC Second Team, and freshman defender Lael Hill was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team.
Main and Symmonds followed first-year coach Nick Zimmerman from Mississippi State. Main, who leads the Gators in points (19) and assists (7), picked up her third straight All-SEC selection after earning second-team honors in her sophomore season and third-team honors as a junior. Symmonds, who contributed a goal and two assists at defensive midfielder, collected her second SEC honor and was on the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2025.
Hill cemented her spot in Florida’s backline, starting 12 matches and helping post shutouts against Youngstown State and then-No. 5 Alabama.
“Huge credit to Adia, Zoe and Lael,” Zimmerman said. “All three have been extraordinary all season.”
No. 12 seed Florida takes on No. 5 seed Arkansas to kick off postseason play Sunday in the first round of the SEC Tournament in Pensacola.
