Gator Volleyball Hosts FSU Tonight

The unbeaten Gator volleyball team gets a stiff test tonight when it hosts in state rival Florida State; you can hear the match live at 6:45pm on WRUF Sports Radio 850 after the Jack Del Rio Show which starts at 6pm.

Florida is 2-0 after knocking off ACC teams Boston College and North Carolina and it would like nothing better than to beat another ACC foe in the Seminoles. The Seminoles are good; they’re 3-0 and ranked number 25 while the Gators are the ninth ranked team in the country.

The Seminoles beat an SEC team in Kentucky and 23rd ranked Tulsa this season and they bring a team to Gainesville with a lot of experience and talent.

You may recall last year FSU went up 2-0 on the Gators before Florida rallied dramatically to win a three games to two thriller. That occurred in the NCAA Tournament when Florida was ranked number one.
