Lee Shuts Out Braves For Phillies

Cliff Lee threw a complete game five hitter to help the Philadelphia Phillies down the Atlanta Braves 9-0 Monday night. The win for Lee is his 16th of the season.

In other National League action, Arizona stays hot, beating Colorado 10-7 while San Francisco keeps pace with a 7-2 win over San Diego. Florida downs New York 9-3; Milwaukee tops St. Louis 4-1; Chicago beats Cincinnati 4-3; Washington beats Los Angeles 7-2; and Pittsburgh beats Houston 3-1.

In the American League, Detroit extends its lead over Cleveland to seven and a half games with a 4-2 win over the Tribe on Monday. In other AL games, Chicago sweeps Minnesota 2-1 and 4-0; New York nips Baltimore 11-10; Toronto nips Boston 1-0; James Shields gets a complete game win as Tampa Bay stops Texas 5-1; Los Angeles beats Seattle 7-3 and Kansas City knocks off Oakland 11-6.
