Gator Soccer Wins; Volleyball Loses

The University of Florida soccer team bounces back from a tough home loss to FSU on Friday with a 5-0 home win over Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday.

Annie Speese had three assists and the Gators scored four first half goals to put the match away early. Florida is now 5-2 on the year.

Gator volleyball loses its second match of the season, falling to third ranked Stanford in five games. The Gators trailed 0-2 before rallying to force a fifth and deciding game. Florida was playing in a tournament in California where the Gators also managed to defeat nationally ranked Texas.
