It was not a good day Sunday for Florida teams in the NFL.
The Tampa Bay Bucs got waxed 48-3 at San Francisco as the Bucs fall to 3-2 on the year. And the Jacksonville Jaguars squandered a fourth quarter lead at home and fell to the Cincinnati Bengals 30-20.
In other action, former Gator Tim Tebow came on in relief of Denver starter Kyle Orton and almost engineered a comeback win; the Broncos lost 29-24 to San Diego but Tebow threw for a touchdown and ran for another and now we’ll see if the Broncos will make him their starter.
Minnesota gets its first win, downing Arizona 34-10; Green Bay remains unbeaten as it rallies past Atlanta 25-14; Seattle upsets the New York Giants 36-25 while the New York Jets lost at New England 30-21.
New Orleans edges Carolina 30-27; Pittsburgh blasts Tennessee 38-17; Buffalo beats Philadelphia 31-24; Kansas City keeps Indianapolis winless with a 28-24 win and Oakland gets a win for its late owner Al Davis who passed away on Saturday; the Raiders top Houston 25-20.
