Cardinals-Rangers World Series Begins Tonight
The 2011 World Series begins tonight in St.Louis as the Cardinals host the Texas Rangers. The Cardinals get home field advantage because the National League won this year’s All Star Game.
CJ. Wilson will pitch for Texas while the Cardinals counter with righty Chris Carpenter. Despite getting to the World Series, both teams have not had good starting pitching for the most part in the playoffs but both bullpens have been outstanding with earned run averages in the two’s.
Game 2 will be Thursday in St.Louis as Jaime Garcia gets the start for the Cardinals against Colby Lewis for Texas.
