Two Georgia Players Suspended For UF Game By SEC

After reviewing tapes from the end of the Vanderbilt-Georgia game last Saturday, SEC Commissioner Mike Slive announced today that three players would face suspensions that would occur in this week’s games.

Two players from Georgia will be suspended for the first half of the Florida game next week; defensive lineman Qwame Geathers and defensive back Shawn Williams. The Vandy player suspended is sophomore center Logan Stewart and he will also miss he first half of Vandy’s game against Army.
