Former Gator Graham Out For Year

Former Gator running back Earnest Graham is out for the season after he tore hi Achilles tendon in an NFL game in London this past Sunday. The Tampa Bay Bucs veteran running back was having a nice season, getting carries at tailback and fullback for the team.

In other Sports News And Notes For Wednesday…

  • The Miami Dolphins will have a new quarterback on the roster; former Buffalo Bills starter J.P. Losman was signed to replace Sage Rosenfels who has not fully recovered from a blood disorder. Losman will be the backup to starter Matt Moore.
  • LSU will get its three suspended players from last week back for next week’s showdown game with Alabama. Running back Spencer Ware and defensive backs Tyrann Mathieu and Tharold Simon will all return after missing the Auburn game for allegely violating the team’s drug policy.
  • The Gator football team will lose two more members of its team who will transfer. In a release from UF, tight end Gerald Christian and wide receiver Robert Clark say they will both leave the team for other opportunities. Florida now will have only 72 players on scholarship, 13 below the NCAA limit.
