Gators Continue To Prepare For Bulldogs

October 27, 2011

The Gator footbal team continues its preparations for the Georgia Bulldogs in a big SEC game on Saturday.

Florida comes off a bye week as does Georgia and both teams need a win to keep themselves afloat in the SEC East race. A Gator loss would knock them out completely.

All eyes for Florida center on senior quarterback John Brantley who continues to practice and prepare to start in Saturday’s game. Even though coach Will Muschamp does not say much about injuries, Florida also hopes to have almost of its injured players ready to play Saturday including tailbacks Jeff Demps and Mike Gillislee, offensive lineman Dan Wenger and defensive lineman Ronald Powell.

In other news, the Gainesville Sun is reporting today that State Attorney Bill Cervone will decide what charges if any will be filed against Gator football player Dominique Easley and former Alabama player Reggie Myles. The two apparently had some sort of altercation and verbal sparring match following the Alabama game in Gainesville this year and the University Police Department has forwarded to Cervone sworn complaints against both men.
